Top up your booster stock
Today's active Match Master reward links.
Match Master Booster & Life Strategy
Boosters in Match Master are a finite resource that regenerates slowly through daily links and challenges. The fastest way to drain your stock is to use boosters individually when synergy combos were available - two boosters combined always outperform two boosters used separately. The guidance below covers when to spend, when to save, and which habits deplete inventory fastest.
The Core Rule: Synergy Before Solo
Before activating any booster, check whether it is adjacent to another booster. If it is, activating the pair as a synergy combo produces a combined effect that is consistently more powerful than both boosters used separately. This one habit change - pausing to check for adjacency before every activation - is the single largest lever for extending your booster supply without collecting a single additional link.
The synergy check takes less than two seconds. The booster savings compound across every session. Players who build this habit typically clear hard levels with one to two fewer boosters than those who activate boosters reactively, which means fewer gaps in their stock and fewer levels where they stall waiting for daily link refills.
Booster Budget by Level Type
Use this framework to decide how many boosters are appropriate before entering each level type.
| Level Type | Booster Rule | Combo Opportunity | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy (1-2 stars common) | Zero boosters | None needed | Save everything. These are coinless drains only if you spend boosters on them. |
| Medium (occasional retries) | Single booster max | Hammer or Rocket only | One targeted booster to break a blocker - never use Rainbow Ball here. |
| Hard (3+ attempt levels) | Up to 2 boosters as combo | Hammer + Rocket preferred | Plan the combo before entry. A synergy combo clears more than two individual boosters. |
| Event / Challenge levels | Synergy combo budget | Rainbow Ball + Rocket or double Rainbow Ball | Event rewards justify premium combo use - do not hold back here. |
Daily Booster Routine
- Claim daily reward links first - adds boosters before any session spending
- Check daily challenges and identify which ones are Synergy Combo tasks
- Complete easy levels first to build match momentum without spending boosters
- Before entering a hard level, identify the required synergy combo and confirm you have both booster types
- Activate boosters as adjacent pairs whenever possible - never activate solo if an adjacent booster exists
- Stop a session if your booster stock drops below five across all types - wait for daily links to refill
Four Spending Traps to Avoid
Using Boosters Individually When Synergy Combos Are Available
This is the most expensive habit in Match Master. A Hammer used alone removes one tile. A Hammer activated adjacent to a Rocket clears a full cross pattern - rows, columns, and surrounding tiles. Players who use boosters individually in levels where a combo was possible consume two to three times more inventory to achieve the same board clear. Before activating any booster, always check whether an adjacent booster creates a more powerful combo.
Spending Rainbow Balls on Standard Levels
Rainbow Balls are the highest-value booster in the game when used in synergy - a Rainbow Ball combined with a Rocket fires rockets at every tile of the matched color, and two Rainbow Balls clear the entire board. Spending Rainbow Balls on standard levels where simpler boosters would suffice depletes your supply for the hard levels where Rainbow Ball synergies are the only efficient solution. Save Rainbow Balls for blocked or multi-target levels.
Entering Hard Levels Without First Watching a Walkthrough
Match Master hard levels often have a specific tile clear sequence that makes them solvable with zero boosters - but only if you know the order. Players who jump in blind frequently burn one to two boosters per attempt before discovering the correct approach. For any level marked as hard or that has previously required three or more attempts, taking two minutes to identify the intended sequence saves more boosters than a day of daily links provides.
Buying Extra Moves Instead of Replaying
When a level ends just short of completion, Match Master offers extra moves for coins. This feels efficient but usually is not - the coins spent on extra moves deplete the same budget you would use to buy boosters for the next hard level. Unless the level is part of a time-limited event or daily challenge, replaying with the correct strategy is almost always the better choice over purchasing extra moves.
