Old Vegas Slots Links Not Working?
7 reasons your reward links might not be crediting, and exactly how to fix each one.
While You Troubleshoot, Fresh Links Are Waiting
If your current link is not working, try a newer one. We update daily.
Quick Checklist
Before diving into the detailed fixes below, run through this 30-second checklist. Most link issues are resolved by one of the first three items.
- Is Old Vegas Slots fully closed (not just backgrounded)?
- Is the link less than 48 hours old?
- Have you already claimed this specific link?
- Are you tapping the link on a device with the app installed?
- Is your app updated to the latest version?
- Do you have a stable internet connection?
Old Vegas Slots reward links are reliable when they work, but when they do not, the experience can be frustrating because the app rarely tells you what went wrong. You tap a link, the app opens, and nothing happens. No error message, no explanation, just silence. Below are the seven most common reasons this happens, each with a specific fix and a prevention tip so it does not happen again.
All 7 Causes and Fixes
The Link Has Expired
What happens
Old Vegas Slots reward links are valid for 24-48 hours after being posted. If you are tapping a link from yesterday or earlier, there is a good chance it has already expired. Expired links either do nothing when tapped or open the app without showing a reward pop-up.
Fix
Check the date the link was posted. If it is more than 48 hours old, skip it and try a newer one from the top of our daily links page. We sort links newest-first so the freshest options are always at the top.
Prevention
Bookmark our daily credits page and check it once a day. Claiming links the same day they drop eliminates expiry issues almost entirely.
You Already Claimed This Link
What happens
Each reward link can only be claimed once per account. If you tapped this link earlier today (or on another device logged into the same account), it will not work again. There is no error message in most cases - the link simply opens the app without crediting anything.
Fix
Try a different link from the list. If you are unsure which links you have already claimed, start from the top of the page and work down. Links you have already claimed will not credit, but newer links you have not seen should work.
Prevention
Claim all available links in one session so you do not lose track of which ones you have already tapped.
Old Vegas Slots Was Running in the Background
What happens
Reward links work by sending a deep link signal to the Old Vegas Slots app. If the app is already running (even in the background), the signal can get intercepted or ignored. This is the most common cause of "I tapped the link but nothing happened" reports.
Fix
Fully close Old Vegas Slots before tapping the link. On iOS, swipe up from the app switcher to force-close. On Android, open Recent Apps and swipe the game away. Then tap the link. The app should launch fresh and show the reward pop-up.
Prevention
Make it a habit to close the game before claiming links. Close app, tap link, collect reward, repeat.
Claiming From an Unsupported Platform
What happens
Old Vegas Slots reward links are designed to open the mobile app on iOS, Android, or Amazon Appstore. If you tap a link on a desktop computer without the Facebook version open, it may redirect to a website or an app store page instead of crediting your account.
Fix
Claim links on a mobile device where Old Vegas Slots is installed. If you play on Facebook, some links work through the browser version, but mobile claiming is the most reliable method. Make sure you are using the same device where the app is installed.
Prevention
Always claim reward links from the device where you play Old Vegas Slots most often.
The Link Hit Its Global Claim Limit
What happens
Some reward links have a maximum number of total claims across all players. Once that cap is reached, the link stops working for everyone, even if it has not technically expired yet. Popular links shared on large Facebook groups can hit their cap within hours of being posted.
Fix
Try a different link from the list. Global claim caps are not something you can work around - once the cap is hit, the link is dead. Newer links that were posted more recently are less likely to have reached their cap.
Prevention
Claim links as soon as possible after they are posted. The earlier you claim, the less likely the cap has been reached.
Your App Needs Updating
What happens
Occasionally, DGN Games updates the link-handling mechanism in the app. If you are running an outdated version of Old Vegas Slots, newer reward links may not be recognized by the app. The link might open the app but fail to show a reward pop-up.
Fix
Go to the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), or Amazon Appstore and check for updates. Install any available updates, then reopen the app and try the link again.
Prevention
Enable auto-updates for Old Vegas Slots so you are always running the latest version.
Poor Internet Connection
What happens
Reward links require a network connection to verify the claim with DGN Games servers. If your connection is weak, unstable, or drops at the wrong moment, the claim can fail silently. The app might open normally but the reward never gets processed.
Fix
Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa) and try the link again. If you are on a slow connection, wait until you have a stronger signal before claiming. Once the reward pop-up appears and you tap Collect, the credits are locked in.
Prevention
Claim links when you have a stable connection. Avoid claiming on spotty public Wi-Fi if possible.
Still Not Working?
If you have gone through all seven fixes and links are still not crediting, the issue is likely account-specific. This can happen if your account has been flagged, if there is a server-side issue with DGN Games, or if a recent app update introduced a bug. In these cases, contact DGN Games support directly at support@dgngames.com with your player ID and a description of the problem.
While you wait for a resolution, you can still earn credits through other methods. The free credits guide covers all 8 earning methods, and the 45-minute hourly bonus, daily login, and prize wheel work independently of reward links.
