Royal Dice Coin & Dice Strategy
The central principle in Royal Dice is the Prestige-First Rule: completing kingdoms one at a time as fast as possible is more valuable than spreading coins across multiple kingdoms. Every Prestige Rank you earn permanently increases your dice refill rate - that advantage compounds across every future session. This guide covers how to allocate coins by balance level, how to sequence dice rolls against kingdom building, and four traps that keep free-to-play players stuck at low Prestige Ranks.
The Prestige-First Rule
Complete one kingdom fully before spending a single coin on the next one. This rule exists because Prestige Rank bonuses - and the permanent dice refill multiplier they grant - only trigger on completion of the last structure in a kingdom. Partial kingdom progress earns no Prestige benefit.
The strategic implication: a player who completes three kingdoms sequentially reaches Prestige Rank 3 and earns a permanently faster dice refill rate plus three sets of completion bonuses. A player who splits the same coins across three kingdoms simultaneously earns zero Prestige Ranks during that same period and refills dice at the base rate the entire time.
Apply attack coin income immediately to the final structures of your current kingdom rather than saving it. Every delayed completion is a delayed Prestige Rank and a delayed permanent improvement to your daily dice income.
Coin & Dice Allocation by Balance
| Coin Balance | Building Allocation | Dice Allocation | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Low (under 500K coins) | Hold all coins | Roll only refill dice | Wait for daily links to build a coin buffer before spending on buildings |
| Medium (500K - 2M coins) | 70% toward current kingdom | Roll freely during events | Spend coin income on final structures in the current kingdom - do not open a new kingdom yet |
| High (2M+ coins) | 80% toward final kingdom structures | Roll aggressively to generate attack income | Push to complete the kingdom and trigger the Prestige Rank advancement bonus as fast as possible |
Four Traps That Stall Prestige Progress
Trap #1: Splitting Coins Across Multiple Kingdoms at Once
Opening and partially building two or three kingdoms simultaneously feels like progress but delays every Prestige Rank advancement. Prestige bonuses only trigger when the last structure in a kingdom is finished. Partial progress earns nothing. Every coin spent on a second kingdom while the first is unfinished is a coin that delays the permanent dice refill multiplier you would have earned by completing one kingdom first.
Trap #2: Advancing to a New Kingdom Before Completing the Current One
Moving to a new kingdom before finishing every structure in the current one forfeits the Prestige Rank advancement bonus for that session. The completion bonus and the Prestige Rank bonus both require that the last structure be built. Players who travel forward on the board and spend attack coins funding structures in a new kingdom extend the time before their dice refill rate improves.
Trap #3: Saving Dice During Attack Events Instead of Rolling
Attack events reward extra coins and dice for reaching roll and attack milestones. Saving dice to use outside events loses the event multiplier on both the coins you earn from attacks and the dice rewards for hitting participation thresholds. Roll during events and use the coin income from event attacks to fund kingdom building in the same session.
Trap #4: Ignoring the Kingdom Treasury After Prestige Rank Advancement
Prestige Rank advancement bonuses sometimes credit to the Kingdom Treasury rather than your main coin balance. Players who check only the main coin counter after completing a kingdom conclude the bonus did not arrive and feel cheated. Open the Kingdom overview screen and check the Treasury balance separately any time you earn a new Prestige Rank. The coins are there and available to spend.
Dice Timing Against Kingdom Building
Dice rolls in Royal Dice generate coin income through attacks and raids as well as direct coin rewards from landing on certain board spaces. The most efficient use of a large dice reserve is to roll during attack events, when each roll simultaneously contributes to event milestones and generates attack income that funds kingdom building.
Outside events, roll at a rate that keeps you from hitting your maximum dice storage cap before you log in again. Dice that sit at the cap generate no value - they stop refilling. Enabling push notifications lets the game alert you when your dice are ready, so you can log in before the cap is reached and collect the full benefit of your current Prestige Rank refill rate.
As your Prestige Rank increases, your refill rate accelerates and you hit the cap faster. High-Prestige players need to log in more frequently to capture the full refill benefit, or increase their session frequency to match their improved refill rate.
