Slotomania Links Not Working

You tapped the link. The app opened. And then nothing. No coins. Here's what actually went wrong and how to fix it.

Try Fresh Links First

Most "broken" links are just expired. Today's links are far more likely to work.

Today's Links

Quick Diagnosis

Before going through every fix below, ask yourself two questions. First: how old is the link? If it is more than a day or two old, expiration is almost certainly the cause. Grab a fresh one from the daily rewards page and skip the rest of this guide. Second: did the app actually open when you tapped the link?

If the app opened but delivered no coins, you either already claimed that specific link, or there was a connection issue during delivery. If the link did nothing at all and the app never opened, you are looking at an app update issue, a platform mismatch, or a device problem. The full breakdown of every scenario is below.

Every Reason Links Fail (and How to Fix Each One)

The Link Has Expired

Very Common

What happened:

This is the reason about 80% of the time. Slotomania reward links have a shelf life of 24 to 72 hours depending on the source. After that window closes, the link is dead. It does not matter how many times you tap it or whether your app is updated. If the link is from two or three days ago, expiration is almost certainly the cause.

The fix:

There is no way to revive an expired link. Grab fresh ones from the daily rewards page as soon as they drop rather than saving them for later. Links posted today are far more likely to work than anything from yesterday or before.

Try Today's Fresh Links

You Already Claimed It

Common

What happened:

Each Slotomania reward link is one-use per account. If you tapped it earlier and forgot, tapping it again will do nothing. The app does not always show a clear error message for already-claimed links. Sometimes it opens normally and silently does nothing, which makes it look like the link is broken when it actually worked the first time.

The fix:

There is no way to re-claim a used link. Check your coin balance against what it was before tapping the link. If it went up, you already received the reward. Going forward, claim links immediately when you see them so there is no ambiguity about whether you already got the coins.

Your App Needs Updating

Common

What happened:

Playtika pushes regular updates that change how reward links are processed server-side. If your app is running an older version, new links may not be recognized correctly. The app will not always notify you that an update is waiting. You have to check manually.

The fix:

Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), search for Slotomania, and tap Update if it is available. Let the update complete fully before trying the link again. This resolves more link failures than most players expect, especially after a major Playtika update cycle.

Facebook Connection Dropped

Moderate

What happened:

If your Slotomania account is linked to Facebook, a dropped connection causes reward links to fail silently. Facebook login tokens expire, and when they do, the app does not know which account to credit. The link opens the game, but the server cannot authenticate your identity, so no coins are delivered.

The fix:

Open Slotomania, go to Settings, and check your Facebook connection status. If it shows as disconnected or prompts you to reconnect, do so. You may need to log into Facebook separately on your device first if your Facebook session has also expired. After reconnecting, try the reward link again.

Device or Platform Mismatch

Moderate

What happened:

Slotomania reward links are built for specific platforms. A mobile app link clicked in a desktop browser will not deliver coins to your account. The link tries to open the app, fails to find it, and either opens the app store page or does nothing. It is one of the most common issues for players who find links on their computer but play on their phone.

The fix:

Always open reward links on the device where Slotomania is installed. If you find a link on your computer, copy the URL and send it to your phone via text, email, or a note app, then open it from there. On a properly configured mobile device, the link should launch the app directly if it is installed.

Connection Issues at the Wrong Moment

Moderate

What happened:

Reward links require a stable internet connection to verify your account and deliver the coin credit. If your connection drops at the exact moment the link is being processed, the delivery can fail. In some cases the link registers as used server-side without the coins ever arriving in your account.

The fix:

Switch between WiFi and mobile data and try the link again. If the link now shows as already claimed but you received no coins, close the app completely, wait 30 seconds, and reopen it. Coin credits sometimes arrive with a short delay and appear after the app syncs with the server on the next launch.

Cache or Storage Problems

Less Common

What happened:

Corrupted cache data can interfere with how Slotomania processes reward links. This is more frequent on Android than iOS. Symptoms include the app opening but stalling, links opening a blank screen inside the game, or the reward animation playing but no coins being added to your balance.

The fix:

On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Slotomania > Storage > Clear Cache. Do not tap Clear Data unless you have confirmed your progress is saved via Facebook or Google Play Games, as local data will reset. On iOS, there is no cache-only clear option. Deleting and reinstalling the app is the equivalent step. Confirm account linking before doing so.

The Last Resort: Reinstall

Last Resort

What happened:

If every other fix has failed and reward links consistently produce nothing, the app installation itself may be corrupted. This typically happens after an interrupted update or when your device ran out of storage mid-download. It is uncommon but real.

The fix:

Before uninstalling, verify that your account is connected to Facebook, Google Play Games (Android), or Apple Game Center (iOS). This is how your coins, level, and progress are restored after reinstalling. Once confirmed, delete Slotomania, restart your device, reinstall from the app store, and log back in. Your account should restore automatically. Test a reward link after the full reinstall and login are complete.

If None of That Worked

You have tried fresh links, updated the app, cleared cache, checked your Facebook connection, and reinstalled. Still nothing. At that point, the issue is on Playtika's end, not yours.

Contact Playtika support through the app. Go to Settings > Help > Contact Us. When you write your message, be as specific as possible. Include your player ID (found in Settings), the device you are using and its model number, your operating system version, the exact link that failed, and a description of what happened when you tapped it. A message that says "links don't work" gets a generic auto-reply. A message that says "reward link from March 15 opened the app but delivered zero coins on a Samsung Galaxy S24 running Android 15, player ID 87654321" gets a real response.

While you wait for Playtika to follow up, your other coin sources still work independently of reward links. The free coins guide covers all 10 methods, most of which are completely unaffected by link issues.

Prevent Future Link Problems

Claim Links the Same Day

Do not bookmark links to claim later. The expiration window is short. If you see a link, tap it immediately. Saving it for tomorrow is the most reliable way to end up with an expired link and no coins.

Keep the App Updated

Enable auto-updates for Slotomania on your device if your settings allow it. Playtika releases updates regularly and outdated app versions are one of the most preventable causes of link failures. Check manually if auto-update is off.

Verify Your Facebook Connection Periodically

If your account is Facebook-linked, check the connection every couple of weeks. Facebook login tokens expire without notice. A periodic check prevents the frustration of links failing because your session quietly dropped.

Open Links on Your Game Device

Always tap reward links on the device where Slotomania is installed. If you spot links on a computer or a different phone, copy the URL and send it to your main device before opening. Mobile links will not work properly in a desktop browser.
