Link Expired
Most common cause.
Spades Royale reward links typically expire within 24-48 hours. If a link was posted yesterday and you're trying it tonight, there's a good chance it's dead. Our daily page always shows the freshest links at the top. Claim them within a few hours of posting and expiry is rarely a problem.
Fix: Try a link posted within the last few hours.
Already Claimed
One claim per account.
Each reward link and promo code can only be claimed once per account. If you already used it, it won't work again. The game might not show a clear error for this. It may just fail silently or show a generic message. If you're unsure, skip to the next link on the list.
Fix: Skip it and try the next link or code.
Promo Code Not Working
Case-sensitive. Check for typos.
Promo codes are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as published. A single wrong character, extra space, or capitalization error will cause it to fail. Copy and paste the code rather than typing it manually to avoid errors. Also check that the code hasn't expired. Promo codes often have shorter windows than regular links. Some codes are region-specific or limited to certain account types (new players only, returning players, etc.).
Fix: Copy-paste the code exactly. Check expiry and eligibility.
App Won't Open from Link
Browser or deep link issue.
Reward links use deep linking to launch Spades Royale directly. If the app isn't installed, the link will fail or redirect to the app store. Some browsers (especially in-app browsers from Facebook, email clients, or messaging apps) block deep links. If tapping a link does nothing, the browser is the problem, not the link.
Fix: Copy the URL and open in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iOS).
App Freezing After Claim
Known stability issue.
Multiple players report Spades Royale freezing during or after coin-related actions, including link claims and purchases. When the app freezes, it may or may not have processed the claim. Force-close the app, reopen it, and check your coin balance. If the coins arrived despite the freeze, you're fine. If they didn't and the link now shows as claimed, contact support with details.

Coins Not Appearing
Delay or display bug.
You claimed a link but your balance didn't change. Force-close the app completely and reopen it. Check your balance again. If you're connected via Facebook or email, make sure you're logged into the correct account. Sometimes coins deposit to a different profile if you have multiple accounts. If coins are genuinely missing after a restart, contact support@spadesroyale.com.

Try a newer link
Go to our daily page. Pick a link posted within the last few hours. If it works, the old link was simply expired. (Daily links page)
For promo codes: copy-paste exactly
Promo codes are case-sensitive. Don't type them manually. Copy from the source and paste directly into the game's promo code field. Check for trailing spaces.
Make sure the app is installed and updated
Check your app store for Spades Royale. If it needs an update, install it. Beach Bum pushes regular updates and older versions may not process new link or code formats.
Open the link in your default browser
Don't tap links inside Facebook, email apps, or messaging apps. Copy the URL and open in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iOS). In-app browsers frequently block deep links.
Check which account you're logged into
If you have multiple accounts or recently reinstalled, verify you're on the correct account. Coins deposit to whichever account is active when you claim.
Check your internet connection
Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi (or vice versa). Reward claims require a server round-trip. Weak connections cause silent failures.
Force-close and reopen the app
Close Spades Royale completely (swipe away from app switcher). Reopen it. Check your coin balance. The app sometimes freezes during claims but still processes them. Coins may appear after restart.
Clear app cache (Android)
Settings > Apps > Spades Royale > Storage > Clear Cache. This doesn't delete your account. On iOS, delete and reinstall (your account is safe if linked to Facebook or email).
Restart your phone
A full device restart clears background processes and network states that can interfere with deep linking.

Platform-Specific Fixes
Android
Default browser: Make sure Chrome is your default browser. Some manufacturer browsers don't handle Beach Bum deep links properly.
Facebook links: If links from Facebook open in the Facebook in-app browser, go to Facebook Settings > Links open externally. Or copy the link and paste it into Chrome.
Clear cache: Settings > Apps > Spades Royale > Storage > Clear Cache. Don't tap "Clear Data" as that could log you out.
Freezing fix: If the app freezes frequently, check for pending updates. Clear cache and restart. If it persists, reinstall (make sure your account is linked to Facebook or email first).
iOS
Use Safari: Reward links work most reliably in Safari. Chrome for iOS sometimes fails to trigger Universal Links.
Long-press trick: If tapping a link opens the App Store instead of the game, long-press the link and select "Open in Spades Royale" from the context menu.
Reinstall for cache clear: iOS doesn't have a cache-clear option. Delete and reinstall. Your account is safe if linked to Facebook or email.
Promo code entry: When entering promo codes, use the iOS paste function rather than typing. Some special characters in codes can be autocorrected by the iOS keyboard.
