Hit it Rich Links Not Working

Eight causes ranked by how often they actually occur - with a specific fix for each.

Hit it Rich bonus links fail for specific reasons. The two most common causes are link expiry and the global claim cap - both of which happen before the link reaches your account and cannot be fixed by anything you do on your device. The other causes are fixable. Work through the list below in order, starting with the highest-likelihood issues.

Hit it Rich operates on five platforms: iOS, Android, Facebook, Amazon Appstore, and browser at hititrich.com. Platform-specific behavior is noted where relevant - the browser platform in particular behaves differently from mobile-only games.

1.

Link Has Already Expired

Very Common

Why it happens

Hit it Rich bonus links expire within 24 to 72 hours of being posted. Zynga does not publish the exact window and it varies by promotion. Links shared in Facebook groups, Reddit threads, or Discord channels often circulate long after they have expired.

What to do

Use only links collected from a source that tracks posting dates. If a link has no visible timestamp or the post is more than 2 days old, skip it. Bookmark a page that updates daily and check it first before opening any individual link.

2.

Claim Limit Reached for This Link

Very Common

Why it happens

Zynga caps the total number of times each link can be claimed across all players - not just once per account. Popular links shared in large communities can hit the global cap within hours of posting. When the cap is reached, no one can claim it regardless of their account history.

What to do

Claim links as early as possible after they are posted. If a link fails immediately after posting, the cap may already be reached. Move to the next available link - do not retry the same one.

3.

Already Claimed on This Account

Common

Why it happens

Each Hit it Rich bonus link can only be redeemed once per account. Zynga tracks claims by account ID. Clicking a link you have already used will show an error or silently fail without awarding coins.

What to do

Keep a record of which links you have claimed. If you use multiple devices, remember that the account tracks claims - not the device. Claiming on mobile counts the same as claiming on Facebook or browser.

4.

App Version is Out of Date

Common

Why it happens

Zynga releases Hit it Rich updates frequently. Bonus links tied to new promotions or events sometimes require a minimum app version to process. An outdated app may open the link but fail to credit the reward.

What to do

Open the App Store or Google Play, search for Hit it Rich, and install any pending update before trying links. After updating, restart the app fully and then retry the link. This fix resolves a meaningful share of "link opened but no coins received" reports.

5.

Facebook Connection Dropped

Common

Why it happens

Many Hit it Rich bonus links are distributed through Facebook and require an active Facebook account connection to credit the reward. If your Facebook session has expired or the connection between your game account and Facebook was interrupted, the link may open but fail to apply.

What to do

Go to the Hit it Rich settings menu and check your connected accounts. Reconnect your Facebook account if it shows as disconnected. Log out of Facebook in your phone browser and log back in, then retry the link. Note: if you play via hititrich.com browser, make sure you are logged into Facebook in that same browser session.

6.

Wrong Platform or Browser Opening the Link

Less Common

Why it happens

Hit it Rich is available on iOS, Android, Facebook, Amazon Appstore, and the browser at hititrich.com. Links clicked on a device that does not have the app installed may open in a web browser that cannot hand off the reward to the correct game session. Unlike mobile-only games, the browser version at hititrich.com is a valid platform - but the link must still reach your logged-in session.

What to do

On mobile, ensure the Hit it Rich app is installed before tapping links. If the link opens in a browser instead of the app, copy the URL, open the app manually, and look for a redeem or promo code option in settings. On desktop, open the link while already logged in at hititrich.com.

7.

Unstable Internet Connection During Claim

Less Common

Why it happens

When you tap a bonus link, the claim request must reach Zynga servers and return a successful response before coins are credited. A connection drop mid-claim can result in the link being marked as used on Zynga's end without the coins reaching your balance.

What to do

Switch to a stable Wi-Fi connection before claiming links. If you claimed a link and received no coins, check your balance against what you expected - Zynga sometimes processes the credit with a short delay. Wait 5 minutes before concluding the claim failed. Do not retry the same link as it may now register as already claimed.

8.

Cache or App Data Conflict

Rare

Why it happens

Corrupted cache data can interfere with how the app handles incoming bonus links. This is uncommon but can cause links to fail consistently across multiple attempts when other causes have been ruled out.

What to do

On Android: go to Settings, find Hit it Rich in app list, tap Storage, and clear cache (not data - clearing data will reset local progress). On iOS: the equivalent is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Before reinstalling, make sure your account is linked to Facebook or a Zynga account so you do not lose progress. After reinstall, log in and retry the link.

The Claim Cap is the Hardest Problem to Work Around

Unlike expiry (which is time-based and predictable), Zynga's global claim cap per link is invisible. There is no error message that says "this link is fully claimed." The failed claim looks identical to other failure types. The only way to stay ahead of it is to claim links within the first few hours of posting. If you collect links at the end of the day, a portion will already be capped regardless of their expiry window.

Using the Browser Platform

Hit it Rich's browser version at hititrich.com is a full platform, not a fallback. If you regularly play on desktop, links should be opened while already logged in at hititrich.com in that same browser. Opening a link in a different browser from the one you play in, or while logged out, will typically fail to credit the reward even if the link is valid.

If you switch between platforms - mobile and browser - make sure both are connected to the same Zynga or Facebook account. A link claimed on mobile counts toward your account's claim history for that link, even if you later try to claim it again on desktop.
