Try links that are confirmed active
Today's Klondike reward links - expired ones removed automatically.
Klondike Links Not Working?
Most Klondike link failures come down to seven causes. One of them - energy credited to your active expedition pool - is specific to Klondike's expedition system. If a link opens the game but your main energy bar does not change, check your active expedition pool before concluding anything failed.
The Link Has Expired
Most Klondike reward links are valid for 24-72 hours from the moment the developer posts them. Links shared on Facebook or through push notifications attract heavy traffic immediately after posting and reach their claim cap quickly.
Checklist
- Check when the link was originally posted
- Try links within 24 hours of posting for best results
- Bookmark a source that removes expired links daily
You Already Claimed This Link
Each Klondike reward link is single-use per account. Tapping the same link twice will open the game but will not award energy a second time. The game registers the claim silently with no error message.
Checklist
- Check whether you received a reward notification on first claim
- No notification on reopen = already claimed
- Use an aggregator that tracks claimed links per session
Energy Credited to Active Expedition Pool, Not Main Balance
When you have an active expedition in progress, some Klondike promotional reward links are designed to credit energy directly to your active expedition pool rather than your main energy balance. The expedition pool fuels actions within the current expedition territory and is separate from the general energy balance used for homestead tasks. Players who check only their main energy bar after claiming will see no change and assume the link failed - when the energy was actually credited to the expedition.
Checklist
- Check main energy AND active expedition pool after claiming
- Open the expedition screen to verify the pool balance
- Expedition pool credits advance progress toward milestone energy drops
- Force-close and reopen the app if neither balance updates immediately
Claim Cap Reached
The developer sets a maximum number of claims per link. Once the cap is reached, the link stops working for all players regardless of whether they have personally claimed it before.
Checklist
- Claim links within the first few hours of posting
- Enable push notifications for Klondike
- If a link fails and you have not claimed it before, cap is likely the cause
App Is Out of Date
Some promotional links are tied to a specific app version. If your version of Klondike is behind the current release, the deep link may open the app but fail to process the energy reward.
Checklist
- Open App Store / Google Play and check for updates
- Install any available Klondike update
- Retry the link after updating
Wrong Device or Account
Links open whichever account is active on the device. If you are logged into a secondary account or a guest session, the energy will be credited to the wrong account.
Checklist
- Open the app first and confirm the active account
- Check the account name in the profile menu
- Log out of guest sessions before tapping reward links
Unstable Connection During Claim
If your internet connection drops between tapping the link and the game processing the reward, the claim may fail silently.
Checklist
- Force-close the app and reopen on a stable connection
- Check both main energy balance and expedition pool after restart
- Retry the link if it is still within its validity window
