What Is Dice Dreams?
Dice Dreams is a free-to-play mobile board game developed by SuperPlay and released in 2019, available on iOS and Android. Players roll dice to move across fantasy-themed kingdom boards, collect coins from tile landings, build and upgrade kingdom structures, attack other players' kingdoms, and complete card albums for large roll rewards. The game has surpassed 50 million downloads and holds a 4.6/5 rating on the App Store.
The primary resource is rolls - each roll moves your piece across the board. Rolls regenerate at 1 per hour with a free player cap of 50. The 4 key tile types define the core experience: coin tiles add currency for building, attack tiles let you destroy an opponent's structure, piggy bank tiles steal coins from another player, and shield tiles grant protection from incoming attacks.
Dice Dreams differentiates itself from Coin Master through its kingdom-building progression system. Each kingdom contains multiple structures to construct. Completing all structures in a kingdom advances you to the next one - creating a visible long-term progression ladder that slot-based games lack. The card collection system, where completing an album pays a large roll bonus, adds a second progression layer that compounds with the kingdom building loop.
Core Mechanics
Dice Rolls
Rolls are the primary resource in Dice Dreams. Each roll moves your piece across the board and triggers a tile outcome. Rolls regenerate at 1 per hour and cap at 50 for free players. Daily links, watching ads, friend invites, and event milestones supplement passive regen.
Kingdom Building
Landing on coin tiles adds currency used to construct and upgrade buildings in your current kingdom. Each kingdom contains a fixed set of structures. Completing all structures advances you to the next kingdom. Over 200 kingdoms exist in the current game, each with a unique fantasy theme.
Attack and Raid
Landing on a sword tile lets you attack another player's kingdom and destroy one of their buildings, forcing them to repair it with coins. Landing on a piggy bank tile steals coins from a randomly selected opponent. Both mechanics create ongoing PvP tension across all player sessions.
Shield System
Shields protect your kingdom structures from incoming attacks. Each shield blocks one attack. Players hold a maximum of 3 shields simultaneously. Landing on a shield tile during board play grants one shield. Players with no shields lose structures - and the coins spent on them - when attacked.
Card Albums
SuperPlay distributes card packs through events, gameplay milestones, and special offers. Cards fill themed albums. Completing a full album awards a large roll bonus - often several hundred rolls. Card trading with friends accelerates album completion. Album rewards are the highest single-source roll payouts in the game.
Live Events
Dice Dreams runs rotating limited-time events tied to kingdom themes and seasonal content. Events award roll packs, gems, and card packs through milestone tracks. Planning roll spending around active events - rather than spending freely between them - is the core efficiency principle for free players.

The Roll Scarcity Design
Dice Dreams is built around manufactured roll scarcity. The 1-per-hour regen rate and 50-roll cap mean an active player who does not buy rolls will run out during any meaningful building session. This is intentional: the game places the most valuable event rewards just beyond what free regen plus daily links can deliver without strategic saving.
The players who progress farthest without spending treat roll accumulation as the primary daily habit - collecting every free roll source (links, ad videos, login streaks) and banking rolls between events. The roll strategy guide covers the full accumulation-and-spend framework in detail.
